Reasons for Increases in Learning Disorders

Approximately 50 years ago Neurobehavioral Learning Disorders were being discovered and defined.  Since then increased awareness and diagnosis of these disorders have become more prevalent.  The only problem is they are continuing rise to near epidemic proportions.  The current system is failing to properly find the underlying causes of these conditions.  We are always looking for that “magic bullet”, the one reason why someone is affected with a disorder.  However, in reality it is much more complex than that.  Life is very multifaceted, so a combination of things that make up a life or a lifestyle can all be relevant to why someone may have these conditions.
