Scott Carmachel D.C.

Dr Carmachel is a graduate of Illinois State University where he majored in biology and chemistry.  He then received his doctorate of chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences.  

Dr Carmachel has completed post doctoral training in neurology, neurobehavioral childhood developmental disorders, and functional medicine. Dr Carmachel became interested in learning disorders while growing up and in school.  He saw some of his friends and patients struggle with these disorders and desired to search for a better explanation and way to address these problems.  

His studies and training enable him with a unique ability to take complex issues such as ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism, and develop a personalized treatment strategy tailored to the individual patient’s needs.  His other interests include acupuncture, rehabilitation therapies, nutrition/lifestyle therapies, and functional medicine.
